ABOUT ME

JOURNALIST. RESEARCHER. LECTURER.

I have a background in journalism and digital media and I hold a PhD from University of Sussex, where I researched YouTube influencers and their impact on young people. My in-depth exploratory research tried to define young people's critical thinking related to their use of social media, explored young people's YouTube participation and adult's role in their online lives. In my research. I looked at emotions as critical part of our understanding of critical thinking and I argued for adults' participation on social media so they can better understand our youth and their online lives.
